A Day in the Life of Georgie
I took part in “A Day in the Life” at Chase The Light. I was only supposed to take a photo an hour, but I couldn’t resist. Most of my day was sitting in my office so when I actually did pull out my camera, I took a lot of photos.

- I wake up at around 6:00am to my black and white photography around my room.
-
- As I walk to the bus stop, I realise that this house had a lot done over the past week. Last week the structure had barely finished, never mind the paint job!
-
- This is one of my favourite houses to pass on the way to the bus stop. The roses in the front are beautiful.
-
- I just love the roses in the gardens of some of the people who live in my neighbourhood.
-
- At the train station: here comes my train.
-
- I was reading World War Z by Max Brooks on my iPad, and I didn't finish the chapter before my stop, and I decided to get off at a different station and walk through the shopping centre.
-
- On my way to work now, waiting to cross the road.
-
- I'm on a Macbook today. Usually I'm on an iMac but it seems I have to do some browser testing on a standard platform - I'm using a Windows emulator on this old-model Macbook Pro. Had an apple to keep me going!
-
- Before long I realise it's past 1:00pm so I go to the fridge and get my homemade sandwich. Multi-grain bread, chicken and lettuce. :9
-
- James and I decide to meet to hang out at the shops for a bit. I want to buy some seaweed.
-
- Walking through the supermarket.
-
- Here's the seaweed!
-
- James bought some grapes and we sat down on a bench to eat. Seagulls going a bit mad here. James had an idea to throw a grape at one of them.
-
- Spot the lucky bugger who has our grape in his beak!
-
- I suppose it's time to head back to work after my break. Ooh look, a monorail!
-
- After doing more browser testing... I realise it's gotten dark already. Daylight savings happened over the weekend and we gained an hour, so it gets dark earlier. Ugh.
-
- It's my usual desk and computer! I missed it today. :')
-
- Walking back to the train station in the evening after work.
-
- Clock tower above the train station.
-
- After catching the train, James and I head to the car park to find his car.
-
- In the car I play with my camera and long exposures. I took so many similar photos and had fun with the lights on the road.
-
- Then I decided to make bokeh for fun. Yay!
-
- For dinner I had mongolian beef, carrots and rice.
